			Move the handrest and the footrest moves as well. Not all brands can do this.

			There is more to this than meets the eye. She could be calling the unit or sending the unit. She could be simply moving it out of the way. Our straight model stairlifts can charge anywhere on the rail. Not all brands can do this. Most brands must rest at the extreme top or bottom of the rail.

			Here is the chair in its upright position. It folds to preserve space. In this position, the chair uses about 12 inches. Other brands take much more space.

			When you reach the top, simply push down a lever and swivel the chair. See how the footrest stays in position. Release the lever and the chair locks in place.
